This is supposed to be the party that "gets" the average American??

I read this and think of the addage, do as I say, not as I do. Should be the RNC's new slogan if you ask me.

Gov. Sarah Palin’s traveling makeup artist was paid $68,400 and her hair stylist received more than $42,000 for roughly two months of work, according to a new campaign finance report filed with the Federal Election Commission.

So the McCain campaign was willing to spend this sort of money when unemployment is soaring. But guess where the money really came from? Since the McCain campaign was publicly funded, that means the money came from the pockets of us, the taxpayers. I feel bad for all those red state Americans who are suffering from the massive layoffs, only to realize their money was pissed away on makeup and hair for an Alaskan wingnut. But remember, she "gets" Joe The Plumber and Joe six-pack. What about Joe the recently unemployed family man?
